Our expertise

As a specialist search and selection consultancy providing both permanent and interim positions within the area of Human Resources, we have an in-depth knowledge of our market, nationally and internationally. As we specialise within salary bands rather than within sectors, our consultants have an extensive knowledge of your specific market and can work proactively on your behalf. However it is unrealistic that even for a successful HR specialist recruiter that we can find a match for every candidate.

Discretion

Maintaining your confidentiality is key to our joint success. We will always obtain your permission before submitting your CV to a client. We never contact any reference you provide without gaining your express authority first and we remind our clients for the need to respect your confidentiality and the importance of discretion.

Transparency

In order to help you make the right career decision, we want you to know as much as possible about an opportunity and our client. Having been selected as a potential candidate we will give you as much of a detailed and accurate brief of both the opportunity and the client company as we can. Additionally we provide our clients with as much relevant information as possible about you.

Should our client wish to make you an offer we will advise and guide you on the details of the contract such as remuneration package, notice periods and if relevant duration. We won't assume any authority to negotiate or agree the contractual terms of assignments on your behalf.

We never charge our candidates a fee for our services or career advice. Nor do we receive payments on behalf of our candidates.

Regular communication

By keeping in contact with you and our client on a regular basis we make sure you are fully informed at each and every step of the process. The successful completion of a particular assignment can take anything from a couple of weeks to a few months, with many steps between first contact and the starting of a successful candidate.

Flexibility and respect

We understand that it is not always easy to talk to and meet us, so we are happy to schedule calls outside of office hours, including weekends. We pride ourselves on our flexible service, and so always try to arrange to meet at a time and place that is convenient for you.

Understanding your responsibilities to your current employer, we will show understanding for your time when scheduling appointments and interviews.

Our legal responsibilities

We strive to ensure that all our candidates are screened in a fair, unambiguous and non-discriminatory manner, that best equal opportunities practices are followed in respect of the services we provide to both candidates and clients and that current employment legislation is followed in all instances. We don't judge or promote candidates or choose to supply our services to anyone on the basis of their age, sex, race, religious beliefs, sexual orientation or gender. We look solely at each candidate's skills, experiences and competencies in assessing how they would fit within a client's organisation when screening them for a position.

We have built our reputation and indeed our business on the basis that we provide a professional and unbiased service to all our candidates which is a value that is greatly respected by our clients.

We ask all candidates to prove their eligibility to work in the UK in order to comply with current employment legislation. We will need you to bring your original passport or appropriate work visa/permits to your initial Strategi interview. Where this is not possible, we would ask you to contact us so we can discuss which alternative documentation needs to be brought to that initial meeting.

In accordance with our responsibilities under the Data Protection Act, we will dispose of your records after 3 years if no contact has been made within the previous 6 months.
